Talking about meal / Hablando de comida

Logroño's garlics/ajos de Logroño

My husband's enterprise is in Logroño (Rioja) and every three or four months, he travels there to have a  meeting. This is the best present that he has brought me from Logroño. Don't you think so?

La empresa de mi marido está en Logroño (La Rioja) y cada 3 o 4 meses viaja allí para una reunión de trabajo. Este es el mejor regalo que me ha traido de Logroño. No creeis?

This is black albahaca. Esto es albahaca negra

And this is parsley, from my pots. Y esto perejil de mis macetas

  2. Yes I do, it looks absolutely delicious. How long will your string of garlic keep fresh for, and what is the best way to keep them good? is your albahaca what we call purple basil?

    1. Hello Rosmary, garlics last long, about three months and we use them a lot for tomatoe soup, salmorejo, to saute vegetables, to cook all kind of meat or fish. And of course I'm going to give some of them to my mother and friends. you also can keep them like you can see them in the picture, hanged in the kitchen I think the albahaca is the same but I didn't know the name in english so I've made a literal translation. Thanks for your comments.

  6. ¡Menuda ristra de ajos! En casa de mis padres siempre había una colgada en la terraza, pero claro éramos más de familia y se guisaba más. Es una preciosidad. Te deseo un feliz fin de semana. Un besico.

    1. I'll try again: cut the zucchini in half, empty it with a spoon and bake the outside, you saute what you took off the zucchini with the basil, then take off from the heat and add the cheese and grind them all in the mixer, Then you stuff the zucchini and put them in the oven again and you put about fifteen minutes. And ready. Have you understood it now?
