  1. Very beautiful! I hope you had a nice weekend celebration.

    I was wondering...
St. John of ? The horse ranchers? The spanish cowboys? How does that translate. I am most familiar with Spanish spoken by people from Mexico.

    Gracias.

    1. If you are talking about the church San Juan de los caballeros, the translation would be St. John of the Gentlemen and it has relation with the times of the reconquer in Jerez. Jerez (in the south of Spain) was occupied by the arabs and the Christians Gentlemen from Kingdom of Castilla came to reconquer the city.

    2. Gracias, Marina, how interesting. It's a very different meaning. You see, I looked at the buildings and wondered if there had been ranches because it didn't look like the meanings I knew. That's why I asked. Now, I know it also means "gentlemen"!

Bohemian day - Un día bohemio

I am a little bit odd, you already know me. Sometimes I like that everything is in the correct place  and sometimes I enjoy seeing my untidy cushions. Today I have a bohemian day.
Soy un poco rarita, ya me conocéis, A veces me gusta que todo esté en el lugar correcto y a veces disfruto viendo mis cojines desordenados. Hoy, tengo un día bohemio.

Sometimes I love white  and luminous walls  and sometimes  I would love having  a stone wall at home.
A veces me encantan las paredes  blancas y luminosas  y a veces me encantaría tener  una pared de piedra en casa.

I would love lose myself  among colourful cushions but some days  I love white ones.
Me encantaría perderme  entre cojines de colores pero algunos días  me encantan los blancos.

Happy New Year everybody!!! ¡¡¡Feliz Año Nuevo a todos!!!

Yellow - Amarillo

Hi! Although Blue  is my favourite colour,
¡Hola! Aunque el Azul es mi color favorito,

Yellow is  fashionable...
El amarillo  está de moda...

Different shades,  different textures, but Yellow.
Diferentes tonos, diferentes texturas, pero amarillo.

Combined with other colours... ...the result is beautiful. Don't you think so?
Combinado con otros colores... ... el resultado es precioso. ¿No os parece?
