Chickpeas with cod, Holy Friday meal - Garbanzos con bacalao, Una comida para el Viernes Santo







Chickpeas 1/2 kg wet from the day before, 2 onions,
3 cloves of garlic, 1 tomato, a teaspoon ofcumins,
 a spoonfull of paprika, a cup olive oil and salt
1/2 kg de garbanzos remojados del día anterior, 2 cebollas,
3 dientes de ajo, 1 tomate, una cucharadita de pimenton,
una taza de aceite de oliva, y sal



Desalting cod
Bacalao desalado

boiled eggs
huevos cocidos

Saute garlic and chopped onion in olive oil, add the grated tomato paprika and cumin, cook 4 to 5 minutes.
Add the boiled chickpeas and the cod and cover with water,
cook to low fire 20 minutes.
